You’ll feel right at home when you head to Jerseyville, Illinois to take part in a summer tradition – the 143rd Annual Jersey County Fair. Get ready for a nine-day processional of unique shows, great entertainment, 4-H shows, carnival rides, games and fair food galore!
The action will be in the grandstands this year with the “Friday Night Shoot-Out” and the Saturday night “Super Pro Shoot-Out.” You won’t want to miss the roaring thunder of the engines as the ITPA Truck & Tractor Pull Challenge heads to the track on Friday, July 13, followed by the NTPA Grand National Pull on Saturday, July 14. Wait…there’s more! The audience was so tricked out by the flips and whips performed last year at the Freestyle Motocross Jump-off Competition, that the bikes will be back again on Thursday, July 12 to leave the crowd breathless.
Reserve your seat in the grandstand, but make sure you leave time to meander on the grounds for some great entertainment – “Nitro Joe” the science guy, the Dog Frisbee Act and the Great Lakes Timber Show. You’ll be entertained, learn a little and laugh a lot at some of these free activities.
All roads lead to home for this year’s Jersey County Fair.
